MONTREAL, February 20, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The owner of a controversial porn andÂXXX-rated modelling agency plans to release a porn film featuring two young Americans who died in Canada under suspicious circumstances. He plans to donate some of the proceeds to one of the mothers of the deceased boys, the other mother is horrified and wants the porn film stopped.

The story is all the more bizarre considering this is the second time on record, pornographer Stephan Sirard, of the California-based French Connection Francaise agency has released a porn film with a young star who died mysteriously prior to the film’s release.

The bodies of Mark Kraynak, 23, of Uniontown PA, and Steven Wright, 20, of Guerneville, CA were found SeptemberÂ1, 2005, at the bottom of a rock quarry, behind aÂclub in the city of Laval Quebec.ÂKraynak and Wright were recruited by Sirard and brought intoÂCanadaÂÂas male pornography “models” under the provisions of Canada’s ‘exotic dancer’ visa program. The program was instituted to address what the Liberal government saw as a shortage of labour in Canada’s porn and sex trade.

Kraynak’s mother, Janice Harshman Kraynak, is outraged at Sirard’s planned release of the film for March 1, especially considering that the suspicious deaths of Mark and fellow exotic dancer Steven Wright are still under investigation.

Janice Kraynak is also upset that Wright’s mother, Cheryl Crockett, will be a recipient of profits from the film. In an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, she said, “I can’t believe that [Crockett] would stoop that low to exploit her son. Cheryl Crockett and Sirard are in business together. That’s a shame. She’s using her son for her own benefit.” The video is titled “Let’s Get It On.”

Janice Kraynak speculated that the Canadian government had blocked the investigation into her son’s and Wright’s death until the end of the federal election because of international criticisms of its sex-trade immigration policy.

In June 2005, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice released the fifth annual Department of State Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report which noted “Canada needs to use its anti-trafficking law to vigorously increase investigations, arrests, prosecutions, and convictions of traffickers, especially those who may be abusing visa waivers and entertainment visas.”

An Ireland-based human rights group has been tracking Sirard’s questionable activities. Gregory Carlin of the Irish Anti-trafficking Coalition (IATC) told LifeSiteNews.com that he is surprised the Laval police have not yet concluded the investigation into the suspicious deaths.”I will therefore be petitioning the office of U.S. Rep. John MurthaÂto ask the Canadian govt. to intervene in relation to the suspicious death of Mark Kraynak” Carlin said.

Canadian porn star Natel King, a 23-year-old, was found dead in a Pennsylvania ravine in March 2004. She also worked for Sirard’s French Connection Francaise (FCF) agency. Sirard made press at the time by offeringÂthe proceeds from King’s last porn filmÂto Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.Â

The IATC asked the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children not to accept money from Sirard. The hospital refused Sirard’s offer.Â

On the upcoming movie release the IATC’s Carlin told LifeSiteNews.com, “It is a matter of great sadness, but alas no surprise, that Mrs Janice Kraynak is facing the bleak prospect of a pornography video release in advance of being allowed the autopsy report and the personal effects of her son. – Mrs Kraynak’s dignified example over the course of this tragedy will hopefully inspire Prime Minister Harper to intervene.”
