Catholic World News reported yesterday that Mayor Anthony Williams of the District of Columbia said Tuesday he won’t sign a controversial law that would have forced all employers in the city to provide health insurance coverage for contraceptives. He refused signature since the bill did not include a conscience clause for employers who object on moral or religious grounds.
