Dear Readers,

Democrat Rep. Bart Stupak seems determined to strongly challenge his party's leadership regarding his pro-life amendment. Keep in mind that there are still many serious problems with the health care bill, even with the amendment being included (see https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/nov/09111310.html).

The EU leadership is determined to eliminate the influence of Christianity in Europe. Believe it.

Just before the 23rd New York Congressional District election on Nov. 3, every indication was that Doug Hoffman had pulled off a last minute miracle and would win the seat. The returns came in and at the end of the night he somehow lost a squeaker. What happened? Did he really lose, I asked myself? My spidey sense told me there had to be more to this story. Acorn and imported big city union organizers, both known to be prone to unethical methods, were working against Hoffman and Pelosi and company desperately needed that win for their upcoming health care vote. It does make one wonder.

There are some rather astonishing new developments related to the CCHD scandal. Accusations of 'partisan politics', 'deceit', and 'hate,' from Chicago diocese CCHD staff levelled at those who exposed serious problems with CCHD funded groups, are unbelievable. When such serious accusations are made by representatives of official Catholic organizations, there is a corresponding moral obligation to substantiate these charges. I haven't seen any evidence of this - at least from the Reform CCHD coalition members. In fact the charges appear to be ridiculously transparent diversionary tactics

It looks like the right bishop has been appointed to the diocese that includes the University of Notre Dame. Future developments there will be very interesting, no doubt.
