BaklinskiOTTAWA, October 20, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Almost 300 people showed up to the 40 Days for Life midpoint rally in Ottawa yesterday between 2 and 3 p.m., enjoying bright sunshine, the chance to get to know each other over coffee and doughnuts, and presentations from campaign leaders and participants.One participant wrote, "This was an important day because most of the vigilers don’t personally know each other. By the time it’s all said and done, there will probably be over 1000 participants in the campaign."Even when we see one another, rarely do we introduce ourselves when we arrive. We just get down to the business and the battle. There’s no time for chit, chat. We’re not there to talk. We’re there to make spiritual war.
