BY LifeSiteNews.com NEW YORK, March 11, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - While research with embryo cells remains stagnant because of medical hazards, it is beginning to look as though there really is no limit to the possibilities of therapeutic applications using adult stem cells.  At a meeting of the International Association for Dental Research in Baltimore, Maryland, researchers are positing that damaged teeth can be repaired and new teeth grown from the cells derived from the pulp of adult teeth. Dr. Tony Smith, editor of the Journal of Dental Research, described research that may enable dentists to coax existing teeth into repairing and regenerating themselves.
