BY LifeSiteNews.com OTTAWA, Ontario, July 4, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – With the House of Commons having passed the same-sex ‘marriage’ Bill C-38 last week, all that remains for it to become law is for the Senate to give approval and for the Governor General (the Queen’s representative in Canada) to affix her signature to the new law. Although Senate Government Leader Jack Austin has indicated it could take until August for C-38 to be passed, most believe it will be much sooner than that.
