BY LifeSiteNews.com OTTAWA, April 16, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Rita Curley, the Christian Family Life Chair of the St. Ignatius Martyr Parish Council of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), made a presentation to the House of Commons Justice committee considering marriage and homosexual unions in February.  Curley’s CWL council urged her to present on their behalf and after her presentation she received a standing ovation from her council for her courage.  Curley presented a faithful Catholic position on the problems with homosexual behaviour which was deemed hateful by homosexual activist MP Svend Robinson but well received by other committee members. Taking Robinson’s lead, homosexual activist media distorted Curley’s presentation and ridiculed her.
