BY LifeSiteNews.com By Gudrun SchultzHIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Kentucky, June 29, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Criminal charges have been dismissed against Professor Sally Jacobsen, a former professor at Northern Kentucky University who destroyed a pro-life campus display in April. District Judge Karen Thomas said Jacobsen’s successful completion of a mediation program would stand in lieu of the first-time misdemeanour charges, which included two counts of misdemeanour theft and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief,  reported the Cincinnati Post. Jacobsen tore down a pro-life sign and 400 small white crosses, intended to represent a cemetery for aborted babies,  which had been displayed by the campus pro-life group Northern Right to Life. The former literature professor encouraged her students to join her in the destruction.
