BY LifeSiteNews.com Damning Human Rights Report of no Consequence   WASHINGTON, Mar 1 (LSN)  U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright assured Chinese leaders today that any criticism coming from the U.S. regarding China’s deplorable human rights record would have no effect on trade negotiations with the country.  A new report released by the U.S. State Department is damning to China, and is expected to be a key resource for Americans demanding condemnation of China regardless of its trade implications. Adding to the pressure against the White House Administration is the recent unanimous vote by the U.S. Senate urging President Clinton to submit a resolution to the UN denouncing China’s practices.  The Clinton Administration, however, remains firmly behind its trade relationship with Asia’s largest Communist regime.
