BY LifeSiteNews.com SALT LAKE CITY, January 8, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a victory for unborn children diagnosed with possible physical and mental disabilities, the Utah Supreme Court has upheld the state’s ban on so-called “wrongful birth” lawsuits.  Legislators opted in 1983 to protect doctors from being sued by parents who say they might have chosen an abortion given a prenatally-diagnosed abnormality. In this case, Marie Wood and Terry Borman sued the University of Utah Medical Center in 1999 after their daughter was born with Down’s Syndrome.
