On average, pro-lifers are having three children, while pro-abortion persons are only having one.  In one generation, America would be overwhelmingly pro-life. PRI president and writer of the report, Steven Mosher, writes that “The first person to point this [demographic trend] out to me was Father Paul Marx,” founder of Human Life International (HLI).  HLI decided to carry out an investigation, putting HLI researcher Dr. Brian Clowes to the task.  Clowes found, upon examination of survey data, that “There [are] significant, even striking differences in fertility between the two groups.” Further, PRI found existence of hard evidence of a demographic shift in a Gallup poll as reported by WorldNetDaily.com in November.  The poll revealed that 72 percent of teenagers are of the opinion that abortion is morally wrong. Mosher warns that “The battle is not over yet…While they have largely stopped reproducing themselves biologically, [pro-aborts] are continuing to replicate themselves culturally…Tenured abortion radicals are zealous in making new recruits to their anti-life views.” Mosher entreats pro-life families to properly teach the “Culture of Life values that they are the product of” to their children, in order to ensure that they can defend themselves against a pervasive culture of death in our media and educational institutions.
