Says Not Many Have Called to Protest BY LifeSiteNews.com OTTAWA, September 16, 2002 (LSN.ca) - The Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace, the official Catholic social justice arm of the Catholic Bishops Conference, has defended its support of a pro-abortion, pro-gay, strongly dissident online magazine. LifeSite reported that the Catholic organization, which has in the past been criticized by bishops for its support of pro-abortion ventures, is running banner ads on The Social Edge.  Several readers of LifeSite’s exposé on the matter contacted Development and Peace to express their concerns.
