BY LifeSiteNews.com VANCOUVER, Apr 28 (LSN) - Craig Kielburger is the 16-year-old child rights activist who founded “Save the Children” four years ago. He has been internationally recognized for his efforts to fight child labour and child exploitation in the Third World has now turned his attention to his home turf of Canada.  Kielburger commented on remarks made in court by BC Supreme Court Justice Mary Southin on Monday, which were critical of attempts to keep child porn illegal. Noting that some of the children in the pornographic photos were from Brazil the judge asked, “what are we doing pontificating about street kids in Brazil?”“We don’t have international obligations to stop kids starving to death in the streets of Brazil, do we?” she continued.  According to the Vancouver Sun, Kielburger responded: “as a person who has traveled to Brazil twice and talked to children involved in the sex trade, I’m shocked and appalled by her comments.” He pointed out that third world children are often forced into the sex trade by threats and violence.  Two weeks ago the young child-rights crusader began a petition for children under age 18 calling for the maintenance of laws against child pornography.
