BY LifeSiteNews.com REGINA, Sept 23 (LSN) - Having won several victories in Ontario and New Brunswick over the right to have city council’s proclaim “Gay Pride Day,” homosexual activists have now turned their sites on the Saskatchewan city of Regina. The Canadian Press reported yesterday that Regina City Council voted this week to debate scrapping all city proclamations rather than be forced to proclaim gay pride festivities by homosexual activists. The council’s final decision on the matter is scheduled for October 5. The Regina Lesbian and Gay Pride Committee filed a complaint with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission on Tuesday because the city refused to proclaim a gay pride day for them.  Provincial Human Rights Tribunals (increasingly identified by critics as “kangaroo courts” and political tribunals) in Ontario and New Brunswick have thus far ordered three mayors to proclaim gay pride days and weeks despite their objections. The Mayors of London and Hamilton were fined $10,000 and $5,000 respectively for their “discrimination.” The court costs and fines for Mayor Dianne Haskett of London totaled more than $70,000.  Nils Clausson, head of the Regina Lesbian and Gay Pride Committee has thus far escaped the clutches of Saskatchewan’s “human rights” agency despite being on record slurring his opponents by calling them “a tiny little cabal of bigots.” http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/gay-pride-proclamation-fought-in-regina/
