BY LifeSiteNews.com OTTAWA, Sept 20 (LSN) - - Today, Official Opposition Children and Families critic Eric Lowther condemned Elections Canada again for its decision to hold a National ‘Child Rights’  vote in schools and using the controversial UN Convention on the Rights of the Child as the source of information for the process. “Whether taxpaying parents want it or not, this fall Elections Canada and UNICEF are going to indoctrinate Canadian children about their ‘rights,’  inspired by a UN document which itself has never been scrutinized by the democratic process,”  said Lowther.  The Canadian branch of the United Nations Children’s Fund and Elections Canada have released the ten rights to be voted on by Canadian youth under 18 in a mock national election to be held November 19.
