At the end of a press interview yesterday, Parrish was caught saying “Damn Americans .. I hate those bastards.” Political commentators have noted that Parrish would have been dismissed from the Liberal Party had she made the same remarks about Africans or people of a specific race. Last year, Prime Minister Jean Chretien’s communications director resigned after using the term “moron” in reference to U.S. President George W. Bush.
