BY LifeSiteNews.com PHILADELPHIA, February 14, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The politicization of the judicial nomination process is, by definition, the result of the philosophy of left-wing judicially-active judges and their supporters in the legislative and/or executive branch, according to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.  Scalia said his judicial philosophy is that the Constitution means the same thing now as it did when it was first drafted, and that it should be read literally for the most part. This “originalist” doctrine is not a politically conservative interpretation, he explained, but the proper way for a judge to do his job.
