BY LifeSiteNews.com UNITED NATIONS, Jan 18, 2001 (LSN.ca) - The Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women has begun meeting again to monitor implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. The exercise has proven over the years of its existence to be an opportunity for radical UN feminists to demand that countries which are party to the Convention promote abortion, among other radical feminist goals (despite the fact that abortion is not mandated by the Convention). Yesterday, the Committee, comprised of 23 UN “experts” from various countries, took up the report of Burundi.
