BY LifeSiteNews.com NEW YORK, Sept 11 (LSN) - Yesterday the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) issued a new report called The Progress of Nations 1998 in which the organization supposedly geared to the best interests of children advocates killing them in the womb. The report does cover some authentic improvements for the welfare of children around the world, but one very disturbing section on women is preoccupied with the promotion of sex ed, contraception, and reproductive health services (a favourite U.N. euphemism for abortion) for children and youth.  In its section on women the report says, “In 1994, the international community acknowledged young people’s reproductive health rights in the Programme of Action at the International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo.” It continues by complaining that ”  young people, girls in particular, have been denied their rights and society has not paid attention to their needs.”  Despite the overwhelming and explicit evidence to the contrary, the UN insists that “sex education delays young people’s sexual initiation or reduces the number of partners.” Apparently the UN does not recognize the link between the increased “need” for reproductive health services and the sex education industry: the report also insisted that “information is not enough.
