The Post reports that “Under Mr. Day’s leadership, the party claimed 6.2% of the vote in the province in the last federal election—a hefty increase from the negligible 0.3% Reform showing in 1997 and better than the federal Conservatives’ 5.6%.” At the launch of his campaign tonight Day will be accompanied by several senior members of the Progressive Conservatives’ Quebec youth wing.
