INDIANAPOLIS, IN, April 28, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Less than a month after her husband was murdered in a suspected robbery, pro-life activist Jennifer Trapuzzano gave birth late last week.

“Cecilia Marie Trapuzzano is here, Trapuzzano wrote on her Facebook page, “born April 25th.”

“We are both home now and are doing so well. She has provided me with so many smiles already. I can feel Nate smiling down on us and am so grateful for this most wonderful gift he blessed me with,” said Trapuzzano.

Her 24-year-old husband, Nathan, was well-known in his neighborhood as a sidewalk counselor for the Indianapolis pro-life ministry Truth and Compassion.

On the morning of March 31, Nathan Trapuzzano – who had married Jennifer just last year – was gunned down while taking his normal early morning walk.

A GoFundMe.com effort to raise money for Trapuzzano's funeral was launched within days of his death. As of press time, the effort had surpassed its $100,000 goal, raising a total of by $172, 323, including four donations on April 28.
