CHARLOTTE, July 13, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – The parents of a slain 17-year-old North Carolina girl say her boyfriend took her life after an argument over abortion.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say two men found the body of Hawa Gabbidon just after midnight on Tuesday on a wooden path in the city’s Thereasea Clark Elder Park.

Her mother, Monah Ger, has told the media her daughter had been arguing with her boyfriend over having an abortion. Ger believes that was the motive.
Police have not released a motive but confirm Gabbidon was shot in the head, and that the suspect could be charged with additional crimes.
A man who murders a pregnant woman can be charged with two murders under state law, as of last December.
