Click “like” if you want to end abortion!

PHILADELPHIA, May 13, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – If Kermit Gosnell seeks to appeal today's guilty verdict, he will not be able to do so by claiming his jurors were politically biased.

According to a local media account, nine of the 12 jurors who convicted Gosnell of first-degree murder and a host of other crimes support legal abortion.

“[T]o give you some background on the jurors, of the seven women and five men who are on the jury, at least nine told the court that they are pro-choice,” said Jacqueline London of NBC's Philadelphia affiliate. “Two say that they are neither pro-choice nor pro-life.”

Although pro-life jurors were outnumered three-to-one, the jury reached a unanimous – and resounding – decision to convict.

When Gosnell's defense attorney, Jack McMahon, demanded that jurors be polled individually whether they agree with the guilty verdict, each virtually shouted “agree!” according to reporter J.D. Mullane, who was inside the courtroom.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled to be held on May 21. Gosnell could receive the death penalty for each of the three first-degree murder charges.
