A grieving father has just received an incredible gift.
His daughter, Sophia, passed away at just six weeks. She had been in hospital for the entire span of her short, precious life.
In order to sustain her life for as long as they did, the hospital staff could not remove the tubes from her mouth. So Sophia's parents had no way to take a photograph of her perfect, tiny face without them.
Her father, Nathan Steffel, posted an appeal on the social media site Reddit, asking anyone for help in removing the tubes from the photograph, using any means possible.
Kind and gifted strangers were quick to respond.
And the result is breathtaking.
Now, Sophia's parents have beautiful images of their daughter that they will no doubt treasure for the rest of their lives.
