TORONTO, Oct 5 (LSN) – Yesterday, in thousands of demonstrations across the globe, pro-lifers took part in the 11th annual Life Chain. Although it is difficult to get exact participation figures, preliminary reports showed a high degree of life chain participation in all 10 provinces and throughout the U.S. In the greater Toronto area, approximately 2,500 people took part at about 40 different intersections. Between 2 and 3 p.m., participants held out signs with pro-life messages such as “Abortion Kills Children”, “Abortion Hurts Women”, “Jesus Forgives and Heals”, and “Adoption, The Loving Option”. Hundreds of thousands of motorists and pedestrians were exposed to the pro-life message during the one- hour display which has become one of the largest single pro-life events in North America.
