Jan. 12 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In an unusual move indicating the priority which the Ontario government has given to the Supreme Court’s upcoming child pornography case, the Tory Attorney-General and former lawyer,  Jim Flaherty, plans to appear in person to make the province’s case against possession of kiddie porn.

It’s the first time Ontario’s A-G “has stepped into court in 12 years,”  notes the National Post. ““It’s a time when attorney-generals on behalf of governments have to look closely at whether they should be there themselves on some of the fundamental values cases. And this is a fundamental values case,” Mr. Flaherty says.
