The auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Detroit spent the vast majority of his public life 'scandalizing souls and attacking the immutable teachings of the Catholic faith.'
In response to Cardinal Arthur Roche's February rescript, Abp. Allen Vigneron has asked parishes to seek alternative buildings to continue offering the Traditional Latin Mass.
'Abortion is a grave offense to the dignity of the most vulnerable person, the unborn child. We understand this as Catholics,' wrote Detroit's Archbishop Vigneron.
'As people of faith who witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ and His teachings, we fervently oppose this deadly proposal and are taking action to defeat it,' Archbishop Allen Vigneron said.
'What we have here is nothing less than the selective and arbitrary enforcement of the Archdiocese’s policies against sexual harassment and abuse, a cover up of sodomitical vice being perpetrated by an Archbishop’s favorite, and the removal of a whistleblower pastor'
