As Alberta Premier Danielle Smith faces an onslaught of criticism from the liberal media, LifeSiteNews has launched a VoterVoice campaign to allow Canadians to thank her for her work defending children and parental rights.
Released by the National Public Research Canada, the survey revealed that 62% of respondents expressed 'some form of parental consent and/or notification for minors seeking abortions.'
The news comes despite the fact that, according to a recent poll, 85% of New Jersey parents of minor children believe that parental notification ought to be mandatory, and 59% say schools should notify even if they are not legally required to do so.
'The scope of services is well beyond what you would find with school nurse services. It goes into reproductive counseling, dental care, mental health counseling, behavioral services. And this replaces what your child would typically receive from a primary care provider with parental engagement,' Stand for Health Freedom's Leah Wilson said.
'Though the amendments do not resolve all our concerns, the changes to HB 2002 retain protections for parents and children–born and unborn–that would have been removed. I hope this is the beginning of Oregon’s political leaders walking toward more protections for unborn Oregonians.'
Premier Blaine Higgs is simply taking a common-sense approach that parents should be involved in their child's upbringing, but Canada's prime minister takes an extreme opposing view, saying, 'Right now, trans kids in New Brunswick are being told they don’t have the right to be their true selves, that they need to ask permission.'
