NO DOCTORS TO DO ABORTIONS?

TORONTO, Jan 29 (LSN)—Pro-abortion groups announced yesterday the creation of a new fund fund to encourage more medical schools to teach abortion procedures.  Abortion advocates are blaming anti-abortion violence for the decline of doctors willing to do abortions and the unwillingness of medical students to undergo abortion training. Campaign Life Coalition insists that the real reason for this trend is the dramatic advances in fetology and ultrasound technology in recent years. Medical students and practicioners are now more aware than ever that abortion is indeed the taking of human life and therefore something to be avoided.  Half of Canada's medical […]

SCOTLAND, Jan 15 (LSN) – Yesterday, doctors in Scotland reported the discovery that a test-tube baby has both male and female sex organs. The finding has led to increased concern that in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques increase the odds of such aberrations. The child, conceived through standard IVF techniques, is a “chimeric hermaphrodite,” the result of an unintended fusion of two separate embryos, which normally would have developed separately into two babies.  Since the two embryos were of opposite sexes, about half the cells in the child’s body are genetically male and half are female. The child looks like a boy […]

UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OFFICIALLY “PRO-CHOICE”

DETROIT, Jan 12 (LSN) – Michigan’s Catholic bishops have issued a 15-page pastoral letter on euthanasia and assisted suicide. Mark Gribben, a spokesman for the Michigan Catholic Conference,  noted that the letter was necessary because many Catholics are not sure why the church is against assisted suicide. In an obvious reference to the crimes of Jack Kevorkian and his cohorts, the letter said Michigan has become a “high-profile, publicity-driven laboratory for assisted suicide.”  The Church’s position is often misleadingly portrayed as requiring one to keep getting on more and more life-support machines, and that is not true said Ned McGrath, […]
