ROSARIO, Argentina, Aug 31 (LSN) – An illegal abortion mill in Argentina concealed the dead bodies of its preborn victims in a dried up well behind the abortuary, reported Zenit news service last week. Dr. Victor Scuizzatto was arrested for running the criminal operation in Rosario. The dead babies were discovered in a police investigation ordered by Judge Raquel Cosgaya. Given the serious nature of the news and the fact that Scuizzatto was already suspected in a baby-trafficking case pro-lifers were dismayed that the national papers and television networks refused to cover the story.

The AFA reported the news today about an ad they produced criticizing CBS for airing Howard Stern’s lewd and sometimes pornographic late night TV broadcast.  The “Howard Stern Radio Show” debuted Saturday, August 22 on CBS’s 12 owned and operated stations.  Syndicated by CBS’s Eyemark Entertainment, Inc., the show has been picked up by enough other networks and stations that it is available to approximately 70% of U.S. households. TORONTO, ON, Aug 31 (LSN) – A court case is underway today in which the Canadian government may be forced to provide funding for men’s groups. Patrick Ellis is objecting to the gender discrimination evident in the long-standing policy in Ontario (and the rest of the country) of making taxpayer dollars available to many so-called women’s groups without providing funds to “men’s” groups. Ellis is asking the Federal Court of Canada to rule sections of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms unconstitutional due to gender discrimination. VANCOUVER, Aug 28 (LSN) – Focus on the Family (Canada) yesterday condemned the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council for threatening the freedom of religion in this country.
