FLAUNTING TOPLESSNESS LEADS TO ASSAULT CHARGE
REGINA, SASK, Aug 26 (LSN) – Evangeline Godron, 64, who in July won a court case allowing her to go topless in public, was charged Tuesday with assault following her refusal to leave a public pool when asked by the manager and police. Regina police Sgt. Hal Zorn explained that the Criminal Code allows someone to be charged with “assault by a trespasser” if they refuse to leave property when asked by the owner or manager.
