17-YEAR-OLD ACCUSED OF INCEST LEADING TO SISTER’S ABORTION ARRAIGNED

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Aug 20 (LSN) – On Wednesday, a 17-year-old who is accused of raping his 12-year-  old sister (resulting in her parents traveling with her out of state to obtain a late term abortion) was arraigned in court and faces a felony rape charge. Macomb County Prosecutor Carl Marlinga, who was criticized for saying that the crime looked like nothing more than “a case of youthful sexual experimentation,” has suggested that the serious charge is only a warning and he would let the youth off with pleading guilty to a misdemeanor. Marlinga claims that the lesser charge is […]

VANCOUVER, Aug 19 (LSN) – The July 27 edition of BC Report magazine published Vancouver’s Archbishop Adam Exner’s condemnation of the NDP BC government’s plans to extend spousal pension benefits to public servants who are practicing homosexuals. Exner suggested an alternative approach to the issue that would not require affirmation of homosexuality, which he called immoral. He said the government ought to allow employees to name the pension beneficiary of their choice, not tying eligibility to sexual activity.  Attorney General Ujjal Dosanjh rejected the Archbishop’s proposal as too costly. Dosanjh claimed, when announcing the homosexual benefits, that taxpayers would not […]

COURT RULING UNDERMINES PARENTAL CONSENT LAW

RALEIGH, N.C.. In a ruling issued yesterday, the North Carolina Court of Appeals upheld an earlier Superior Court decision undermining the state’s parental consent law by allowing abortuaries to accept forged parental permission notes. Following the letter of the law rather than the intent, Judge John C.  Martin wrote “While other states have included requirements in their parental consent laws designed to prevent the sort of deception practiced by Mukeshia in this case … our General Assembly has neither included such requirements nor evidenced an intent to do so.”  The case stemmed from a 1995 abortion where Mukeshia Jackson, then […]

MORAL DEPRAVITY EXPECTED IN ABORTION PRESIDENT

WASHINGTON, Aug 18 (LSN) – Last night US pro-abortion President Bill Clinton revealed his illicit sexual relations with Monica Lewinski and thus his dishonesty with the American public. He has persistently vetoed bans on the horrendous partial birth abortion procedure that were passed by both Congress and the Senate.  In a press release yesterday from the American Life League, ALL president Judie Brown said, “tonight’s real ‘Lead […]

LIBERALS CHANGE RULES AND RATIFY “DEVASTATING” KYOTO AGREEMENT WITHOUT ALBERTA

OTTAWA, Aug 18 (LSN) – Canada’s Environment Minister Christine Stewart announced yesterday that Canada will ratify the radical environmentalist Kyoto agreement despite the refusal of Alberta Premier Ralph Klein. Formerly, as with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the federal government required provincial ratification of international treaties prior to national ratification. However, Stewart claimed Monday that the federal government has constitutional authority to ratify international treaties, and although Ottawa needs provincial collaboration, no province has a veto. The minister said the treaty would be ratified by the end of 1999 after a national strategy has been worked […]
