NEW YORK, Sept 29 (LSN) – The Boston Herald reported today that Janet Sheikhan is suing Lenox Hill Hospital and a genetic testing company called Genetrix (now owned by Genzyme) for providing her with false information which led her to abort her child. On the advice of her doctor Sheikhan submitted to an amniocentesis exam at the Lennox Hill Hospital. The hospital received an analysis of the test results from Genetrix. SAO PAULO, Brazil, Sept 29 (LSN) – On Monday an appeals court in Brazil rejected the plea of the Catholic Church and pro-lifers to save the baby of a 10 year-old girl whose parents have insisted on an abortion for their daughter. The girl was reportedly raped by two men who are now in custody. The Church intervened in the case and offered to provide for the child should the girl choose to carry her baby to term.

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept 28 (LSN) – In a press release from Life Decisions International (LDI) today, it was reported that one of the shareholders in the General Mills company has brought forward a resolution to end the company’s donations to charities. He said that the “charitable” funding of leading abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, has “negatively impacted sales, earnings, and ultimately shareholder value.” The resolution was vehemently opposed by the corporate leaders and thus has very little chance of passage. During the same era that spawned abortion in Canada, our federal prison system was wrought with Nazi-style experimentation on inmates. CHICAGO, Sept 24 (LSN) – An 18-year veteran of the Chicago police force was denied the right to refuse to stand on guard for an abortuary despite his religious convictions. EUGENE, Oregon, Sept 24 (LSN) – On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Michael Hogan rejected a challenge to an Oregon law permitting assisted suicide. The law’s opponents argued that the legislation placed a stigma on the disabled making them seem to be of less worth than others.  Hogan, who brought a halt to the pro-assisted suicide law once before, denied the challenge saying that the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals had decided that an injury had to occur before the law could be challenged.

TORONTO, Sept 23 (LSN) – Reuters reported today on a sex survey showing that Canadian children begin sexual promiscuity at a younger age than in most other countries around the world. WASHINGTON, Sept 1 (LSN) – The Family Policy Network (FPN) reported last week that the Walt Disney Company has begun to feel the effects of the pro-family boycott enacted against it by leading Christian organizations including the Southern Baptist denomination for its outrageous promotion of homosexuality and promiscuity. The boycott has also been actively promoted by the American Family Association. EDMONTON, Alberta, Sept 1 (LSN) – A conservative news group uncovered a growing problem of environmentalist terrorism in Canada. Enter Stage Right reported yesterday on a string of bombings and other vicious attacks aimed at oil and gas companies in northwestern Alberta. RCMP are investigating two separate explosions in recent weeks which caused over $20,000 in damage.  RCMP Sgt. NAIROBI, Sept 1 (LSN) – A select group of scientists favouring the UN view on promoting radical environmentalism begin a week-long meeting today hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The conference will review the 1986 International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme, established to promote the notion that human activities and population are to a large extent responsible for environmental degradation and global warming. Such “findings” are used to justify the extremist population control efforts undertaken by the UN.
