WORKER DEMOTED FOR REMOVING CHILD FROM LESBIAN FOSTER CARE
DALLAS, Sept 2 (LSN) – Child Protective Services worker, Rebecca Bledsoe, has taken her employer to court for demoting her because of a professional decision she made last year to take a child away from lesbian foster parents. She is also accusing her employer of threatening to fire. “I was demoted simply because I made a professional decision which I believed to be in the best interests of a child,” she said at a news conference yesterday when she filed her lawsuit.
