VANCOUVER, Sept 17 (LSN) – On Wednesday a leaked draft report commissioned by the Vancouver-Richmond health board alarmed police and concerned citizens with a recommendation for “safe sites” for injection of illegal drugs. The Canadian Press (CP) reported today that the study suggests “a two-room model – a front coffee shop and a room with a number of private cubicles for injection.”  Police expressed vehement opposition to the proposal. “We see these as sites where people would be allowed to go and commit criminal offences,” said city police spokesman Const. Anne Drennan.  One insider claimed that the health board’s motivation […]

PRO-LIFE REPUBLICAN DEFEATED BUT VOWS TO STAY IN RACE

BINGHAMTON, NY, Sept 17 (LSN) – After being the victim of a vicious and slanderous campaign by pro-abortion Republicans, former Operation Rescue leader and Republican political hopeful Randall Terry was defeated in a New York GOP primary by William “Bud” Walker. Terry, always a fighter, however said he would nevertheless run in the November elections.  One particularly malicious attack on Terry in August took out of context a statement he made: “I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. Let some hate wash over you. Yes, hatred is good.” An ad put out by pro-abortion […]
