BOSTON, Oct 1 (LSN) – Today’s edition of the New England Journal of Medicine addresses assisted suicide or patients of Lou Gehrig’s disease. BISHOP ASKS FOR PRAYERS TO STOP SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN HAWAII

HAWAII, Oct 1 (LSN) – On November 3rd Hawaii voters will vote on whether to approve a proposal to stop the Hawaii Supreme Court from legalizing “same-sex marriage.” Last week Honolulu’s Bishop Francis DiLorenzo sent out an urgent appeal to pro-family supporters to support the proposed amendment to the state’s constitution that would specify that the legislature shall have the power to reserve marriage to opposite sex couples.  The bishop wrote that without a “yes” vote, “the Hawaii court will almost surely redefine marriage [and]  the effects of such a decision will reverberate across the country.” Bishop DiLorenzo also noted […]

PROVINCES DECEIVED ABOUT KYOTO AGREEMENT

OTTAWA, Oct 1 (LSN) – Canadian conservative group Enter Stage Right reported yesterday on a report from the Toronto Star on Sept 11 which revealed that senior federal officials purposely concealed vital information from the provinces on the UN’s radical environmentalist Kyoto agreement so as not to discourage the provinces from ratifying the treaty.
