PRO-ABORT THREATENS TO KILL PRO-LIFERS IN RETALIATION

SEATTLE, Oct 26 (LSN) – Campaign Life Coalition BC has learned, through an Internet news discussion group, that a “pro-choice” advocate is seeking retribution against pro-lifers for the recent shooting of an abortionist in New York.  The discussion group entitled “alt.abortion.inequity” has several threads from someone named “Hick” in the Seattle area. On one thread he asks for information on Seattle area anti-abortionist organizations.  He states, “I am going to avenge this one: an eye for an eye!” Another message states: “let’s kill the anti-abortionists! Anyone care to join me?” In a third statement the individual claims, “It’s time to […]

UN POPULATION CONTROL AGENCY LOSES US FUNDING

NEW YORK, Oct 23 (LSN) – On Tuesday the population control arm of the UN lost all of its funding from the United States. The $20 million cut, implemented by Congress as part the federal budget, represented seven per cent of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) funding.  The Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (CAFHRI) reported that the final straw for Congress was the UNFPA’s support of Chinese population control programs. Last year “UNFPA began a new $5-million program in China, home of aggressive population programs like the ‘one-child policy’ that punish parents who have more than a single […]

LONDON MAYOR MUZZLED FOR SILENCE ON GAY PRIDE

LONDON, Oct 23 (LSN) – Mayor Dianne Haskett of London is to have all letters of support to community organizations, and her plans to attend events screened by the pro-gay London Race Relations Advisory Committee.  Haskett, “shocked” at the appalling intrusion, said that the move “undermines my authority as mayor of London; it gives authority to a group of unelected people to basically review all of my judgments as mayor.” The London Free Press reported that after the decision Haskett asked if that meant past letters were also to be scrutinized and was told that that was “likely.”  Mayor Haskett […]

WASHINGTON, Oct 23 (LSN) – On Tuesday the US Congress, as part of its budget, denied all funding to federal needle exchange programs. Rep. Todd Tiahrt, (R-KS), put forward the clause after receiving reports that police officers felt they were forced to “turn away” from drug pushers as they showed up to receive needles from the government distribution vans.  The Conservative News Service reported that Tiahrt presented two exhaustive longitudinal Canadian studies conducted in Vancouver and Montreal which demonstrated that needle exchange programs have severe negative consequences: “deaths increased, the program users were twice as likely to contract HIV, drug […]

SILENCE IS A HATE CRIME?

Mayor Forced to Proclaim Gay Pride Again   FREDERICTON, Oct 22 (LSN) – Fredericton Mayor Brad Woodside was forced to proclaim Gay Pride, despite his religious objections, for the second time Monday. Last Tuesday Woodside complied begrudgingly with an order by the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission to proclaim Gay Pride but did so quietly after turning his microphone off, an action which infuriated homosexual activists. This week, after bearing the severe condemnation of the national media, his colleagues and gay activists, Woodside made the proclamation again.  The pro-homosexual media, reveling in Woodside’s defeat at the hands of the human […]
