FEMINISTS SEEK TO EXTEND “RIGHTS” BEYOND NATIONAL CONTROL

TORONTO, Dec 14 (LSN)  At a meeting in late November radical feminists met at York University in Toronto to discuss the UN’s 1979 Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). The “strategy” meeting sought to place a condition on CEDAW that would bind countries to upholding its dictates. While currently signatory countries such as Canada are required to submit periodic reports to the CEDAW committee and receive recommendations in return, an “Optional Protocol” would give CEDAW the power to supercede Canadian law and dictate binding orders.  For more on CEDAW’s radical feminist agenda see:  https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/1998/july/980725.html

PRO-LIFERS PROTEST AT CATHOLIC HOSPITAL

LONDON, ON, Dec 14 (LSN)  On Saturday nearly 100 pro-life demonstrators picketed St.  Joseph’s Health Centre, asking for the removal of abortionist Fraser Fellows from the hospital. This picket comes in response to an investigation into a story published in Chatelaine magazine that described an unnamed abortionist working at a Catholic hospital who admitted to doing abortions there. The article provided enough information about the abortionist to identify him as Dr. Fraser Fellows, a London-area abortionist, and thus the hospital as St. Joseph’s.  Leading the protest, Campaign Life Coalition’s John Bulsza said, “From our perspective,  we are concerned with this […]

Investigators Cast a Wide Net To Find Abortionist’s Murderer

The following significant article was published in the Dec. 10 issue of the U.S. The Wanderer newspaper. It presents the case that James Kopp, the prime suspect in the shooting death of abortionist Barnett Slepian, is an unlikely personality to have done the deed and may have been set up as the fall guy for a murder committed to protect the presidency of Bill Clinton. The article also reveals that much violence and criminal activity related to the abortion industry comes from within the seamy industry itself. CROWN DROPS MORRISON MERCY KILLING CASE

HALIFAX, Dec 11 (LSN)  Despite the appeals of the pro-life movement in Canada, the Nova Scotia Crown has decided not to appeal the acquittal of Halifax respirologist Nancy Morrison. Crown attorney Craig Botterill said that the Crown would not appeal since “there’s no reasonable likelihood that a further appeal would be successful.”  In May 1997, Halifax Regional Police charged Morrison with murder after finding evidence that she injected her cancer patient Paul Mills with potassium chloride KCl in order to stop his heart. Witnesses saw Morrison inject Mills’ IV and claim Morrison admitted to them that the syringe contained KCl. […]
