While not agreeing to allow full cloning of human beings, the group recommended Britain allow human cells to be cloned. Pro-life groups reacted immediately condemning the report since the material used for the cloning of human cells comes from aborted embryos.  In a related story Japanese researchers reported yesterday that they have cloned an adult cow and produced 8 genetically identical calves.
