UN SUMMARY OF HAGUE FORUM REVEALS DECEPTIVE LANGUAGE

NEW YORK, Feb 22 (Lifesitenews.com)  An official UN press release summarizing the international organization’s version of the outcome of the recent Hague Forum demonstrates the deceptive language used to distort issues to make them less offensive to the public.  The report calls for laws to be enacted and enforced to promote abortion, contraception and homosexual marriage. It refers to abortion and contraception as “reproductive health and rights” and homosexual marriage “voluntary choice in marriage, family forms”. More discernment is necessary to decipher terms such as “safe motherhood,” which mainly refers to access to abortion since, according to the UN, “unsafe […]

MEN TO HAVE BABIES?

LONDON, England, Feb 22 (Lifesitenews.com)  One of Britain’s top fertility experts has announced that given current technology it is possible for men to carry babies to term and be delivered by caesarian section. Lord Robert Winston, head of a hospital fertility clinic in London, has outlined the concept in his book, The IVF Revolution, to be published in April. “Male pregnancy would certainly be possible and would be the same as when a woman has an ectopic pregnancy – outside the uterus – although to sustain it, you’d have to give the man lots of female hormones,” said Winston. EUTHANASIA OUT OF CONTROL IN NETHERLANDS

AMSTERDAM, Feb 18 (Lifesitenews.com)  As long predicted by the pro-life movement, the practice of so-called controlled euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide in the Netherlands over the past fifteen years has given way to rampant involuntary imposed euthanasia where most cases go unreported. An extensive survey on the practice published in the British Journal of Medical Ethics this week reveals that one in five cases of euthanasia occurred without the patient’s explicit request,  and in 17 per cent of such cases, alternative treatment was available. In 1995, almost two thirds of cases of euthanasia and physician assisted suicide went unreported in Holland. […]

QUOTE OF THE DECADE – A MUST READ

In the February 1999 issue of Chronicles Magazine (p. 25), is given the oft-rumored definition of a “cultist” given by Attorney General Janet Reno. For several years, it has been debated whether Miss Reno actually made this statement, but now, thanks to Dr. Thomas Fleming (Chronicles editor), we have the text from Reno’s appearance on “60 Minutes” on June 26, 1994.  It follows: “A cultist is one who has a strong belief in the Bible and the Second Coming of Christ; who frequently attends Bible studies; who has a high level of giving to a Christian cause; who home-schools for […]

OREGON’S ASSISTED SUICIDE STATS RELEASED

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb 18 (Lifesitenews.com) Fourteen doctors in Oregon were sanctioned by the state to deliver lethal medications to 23 people in their care last year. 15 of these patients were killed by the chemical concoction. A study on the situation in the New England Journal of Medicine this week tries its best to cloud the harsh reality and attempts to show assisted suicide as a compassionate medical procedure, free from mishaps and danger. Of note, the study shies away from mentioning that at least one of the patients to whom lethal drugs were given was in his/her thirties. The […]
