TORONTO, Feb 17 (Lifesitenews.com)  In an unprecedented ruling last week, Judge Hugh O’Connell of the Ontario Court’s General Division ordered Mark Tatoff to pay for the prenatal expenses of his pregnant girlfriend Andrea Danovitch. Prior to this ruling, support payments had only been awarded once the baby had been born. Hence, this case recognizes preborn children as having rights. MONTREAL, Feb 16 (Lifesitenews.com)  Last Thursday, evidence presented in the case of Herman Krausz confirmed that the Jewish General Hospital (JGH) was working under an imposed euthanasia policy. According to the National Post, a JGH policy, in effect since last July when Krausz died, states that terminally ill patients at the hospital need not “be informed of all measures that will be withheld on the grounds of futility.” Mr. Krausz, a 76-year-old man, was removed from life support despite his own and his family’s objections. EDMONTON, Feb 16 (Lifesitenews.com)  Alberta Premier Ralph Klein said Saturday that if it became necessary,  he would poll Albertans on whether or not they would want him to use the notwithstanding clause against federal legislation changing the definition of “spouse.” The comments were made on a radio call-in show in response to questioning by Brian Rushfeld of the Canadian Family Action Coalition. Pro-family observers are cautious in their optimism about the report recalling Premier Klein’s failure to enact the notwithstanding clause in relation to the Vriend ruling. TEXAS, Feb 15 (Lifesitenews.com) – The “Abortuary Corruption Watch” takes us to Texas this week as the list of publicized criminal offenses surrounding the unregulated abortion industry grows. A Texas abortionist was sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison last week for tax evasion and filing false Medicaid claims for abortions, reported the Odessa American. John Alderman also faces two years of supervised release time and a $200 fine. In Texas Medicaid only pays for abortions in cases of rape, incest and saving the life of the mother.
