Ostensibly referring to the birth of her son Matthew Budarick said, “This is something that shouldn’t have happened. OTTAWA, Mar 30 (Lifesitenews.com) – A Statistics Canada release yesterday revealed that nearly a third of all 30,735 sex offences in Canada in 1997 were committed against children younger that twelve. When one includes the offences against children from 12-18 the proportion jumps to 62%. Moreover, the study suggests that the police statistics used “probably represent only a small portion of all sexual offences” and that “victimization surveys suggest that as many as 90% of all sexual offences are not reported to the police.”

PONTIAC, Michigan, Mar 29 (Lifesitenews.com)  On Friday, after 2 days of deliberation, the jury in the murder trial of Jack Kevorkian found him guilty of second degree murder and delivery of a controlled substance in his televised lethal injection of Thomas Youk. Kevorkian is appealing the ruling. In a controversial split ruling, the Supreme Court ordered a review to determine whether Steir’s charges were politically motivated. Critics see the suspension itself as an outrageous politically-motivated decision. Ken Campbell of the charge “obstruct a police officer”, laid against them for their peaceful protest at Toronto’s Scott abortuary on Sept. 9, 1998. OTTAWA, Mar 1 (Lifesitenews.com)  In a letter to the federal Justice department, Brosi Nutting, chief justice of the Saskatchewan provincial court requested the removal of a reference to God and the use of the Bible in taking oaths in Canadian courts.
