PAVIA, Mar 18 (Lifesitenews.com)  A mother in Italy who attempted to have her baby aborted at 24-weeks has rejected the child even though he survived the abortion attempt. The abortionist committed a legal abortion since the baby was diagnosed as deformed, and the country permits late abortions in such cases. The baby boy has survived at Saint Matthew Hospital in Pavia for the past fourteen days and the hospital is working hard to save the child who remains in serious condition.  Source: EWTN news

UNITED NATIONS, Mar 17 (Lifesitenews.com)  The UN’s Commission on the Status of Women adopted an “Optional Protocol” to the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) on Friday March 12.
