Quote of the Week

In April Howard Stern, the “shock jock” featured proudly on Toronto’s Q-107 radio station reached new lows with his comments on the Colorado high school massacre. Rocky Mountain News quoted Stern as wondering why the murderers didn’t try to have sex with some of their victims.  Stern claims that his comments were “taken out of context,” begging the question, Exactly what context would have been appropriate? ONTARIO PARTIES PANDER TO HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVISTS

TORONTO, May 13 (Lifesitenews.com) – Yesterday homosexual activists released a “report card” rating the three main Ontario provincial parties on their performance in pandering to the homosexualist community.  For their overt promises to bring in same-sex legislation, the NDP and the Liberals fared better than the Tories on the pro-homosexual rating scale. However pro-family groups were quick to note that the Tories have done their share of catering to homosexual activism. In October 1997 Ontario Education Minister John Snobelen said it was wrong for the York Region Separate School Board to fire teacher, Joseph Stellpflug, for sodomy. Stellpflug was dismissed […]

HOSPITALS MUST ALLOW NURSES FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE

OTTAWA, May 12 (Lifesitenews.com) – As politicians in the House of Commons wax eloquent about the value of nurses in honour of Nursing Week (May 10-16), they have carefully avoided the issue of nurses’  ‘conscience rights’ despite the recent high profile coverage of the violation of these constitutional rights at Calgary’s Foothills hospital and the Markham-Stouffville hospital in Ontario. In Ontario, however, the Family Coalition Party is trying to make this a high profile issue,  demanding substantive protection for these faithful women and men who care for us during some of the most painful and vulnerable times of our lives.
