Citing the current work of various researchers, Nathanson explained the possibility of parenting a child with the help of a dead female foetus and a mouse. Writer Marnie Ko of Alberta Report explains in the latest issue of the newsmagazine that “the technology now exists to harvest human eggs from aborted foetuses, fertilize them with sperm in a test tube, and gestate them in […]

TOP UN JUDGE TO CANADIAN SUPREME COURT

OTTAWA, June 11 (Lifesitenews.com) – The UN’s chief prosecutor in the International War Criminal Tribunal,  Louise Arbour will replace retiring Justice Peter Cory on the Supreme Court of Canada on September 15. The appointment is a controversial one. Many believe Arbour should have been allowed to complete her four year stint as head of the UN’s court rather than leaving a year early. Also, pro-life and pro-family groups are concerned that she will only add to the judicial activism rampant in Canada’s Supreme Court, given her history.  Arbour, no friend of the traditional family, has ruled in favour of common-law […]

ULTRASOUND CAN DAMAGE CELLS

DUBLIN, Ireland, June 10 (Lifesitenews.com) – Researchers at University College in Dublin have found that ultrasound scans, the same ones used for pregnant women, cause cells in mice to stop dividing and begin self-destructing. The National Post noted that in the study “24 mice received an eight-megahertz scan lasting for 15 minutes, less time than average hospital scans that use frequencies of between three and 10 megahertz and last up to one hour. Four and a half hours after exposure, the mice that had been scanned had a 22% reduction in the rate of cell division in their intestine and […]
