A Florida abortuary owner’s murder conviction appeal failed at the Supreme Court level Monday. The court refused to review the case of clinic owner Alicia Hanna who administered drugs to a pregnant 27-year old to abort her baby at seven months gestation.  The patient bled to death and after failing to call 911 Hanna told the victim’s children in the waiting room that their mother had left.  She then attempted to have the body dumped in the Tijuana River.  AP reported that United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan gave an endorsement of sorts to Vice President Al Gore’s presidential ambitions yesterday.  […]
