MADRID, Feb 7 (LifeSiteNews) – On Monday Spanish public hospitals and some private clinics began selling the deadly chemical abortion drug RU-486 (Mifegyne). Agence France Press reports that the health ministry has said that the pills will not be available in pharmacies but only in hospitals and clinics.  Furthermore, the 50 Euros which will be charged for the drugs will be reimbursed at tax payers expense if the abortion takes place in a hospital. WASHINGTON, Feb 8 (LifeSiteNews) – The bill passed by the US Senate Wednesday which declares that people found to have violated laws protecting abortuaries cannot escape fines or civil judgments against them through bankruptcy is much more dangerous than it appears, say critics. BEIJING, Feb 8 (LifeSiteNews) – The Herald Tribune reports today that Chinese officials have made it clear that their preferred candidate for the president of the US is vice-president and Democrat front-runner, Al Gore. The Chinese suggest that the main reasons concern Taiwan and stability.  However, observers suggest that the communist government knows that Gore would continue the Clinton policy of favouritism for China despite the country’s brutal human rights oppression including the notorious one-child policy. Bill Gates has donated $480,000 (US) to Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada (PPFC) to be used to increase (by ten times) public and private sector support in Canada for international support for population control programmes. Dr Sona Sethi was appointed as PPFC’s Director of International Development for the project which targets Africa and Asia. (PPFC Jan. 28, 2000). The recent sex survey of Roman Catholic priests by the Kansas City Star which claimed that AIDS-related deaths among priests is about 4 times the general population rate has been found faulty in an analysis by two leading statisticians: David Murray, research director at the Statistical Assessment Service and S. Robert Lichter, president of the Center for Media   and Public Affairs have posted their review.
