Father John Earl, priest of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rochelle, Ill., has been charged by police after allegedly smashing his car into an abortuary and chopping at the building with an axe. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct 2 (LifeSiteNews.com) – New Zealand is considering legalizing the abortion pill RU-486 on the heels of the U.S. FDA approval of the human pesticide. The Times of India reported today that the Catholic Church condemned the move calling it “chemical abortion.” Church leaders also took exception to the disinformation being spread by the pill’s proponents who are calling it “emergency contraception” because it is able to kill the embryo up to 72 hours after conception (fertilization).
