BUFFALO, NY, Apr 30, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Pro-life US lawyer John Broderick has revealed that he has recently spoken with James Kopp, the suspect in the shooting death of abortionist Barnett Slepian. Broderick told Buffalo News that Kopp is not guilty of the shooting and will not be convicted. Kopp has written US authorities asking to be defended in the charges and is asking that the charges against him be investigated. Associated Press reports that Planned Parenthood of Minnesota and South Dakota has created a “Prom Survival Kit” containing condoms that the organization plans to distribute in its Minneapolis-area clinics. SHANGHAI, A Chinese women in northern Heilongjiang province was arrested for making health supplement pills out of the remains of human fetuses, the Shanghai Evening Post reported on Wednesday. Han Yufen, 62, began making the health supplements after hearing Chinese tales that injesting human fetuses boosted health. Since April last year, Hu and her accomplice, Pi Lianshu, collected over 70 fetuses to be made into pills and earned more than 20,000 yuan ($2,415). DETROIT, Apr 27, 2001 (LSN.ca) – On Thursday, federal judges overturned partial-birth abortion bans in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin following the Cahart decision of the US Supreme Court regarding Nebraska’s partial-birth abortion ban. MILWAUKEE, WI, Apr 27, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Linda Boom, a 35-year-old high school teacher, was killed after two abortionists attempted to abort her baby who was believed to have Down syndrome.
