CANADIAN EVANGELICAL COALITION BACKS CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE

OTTAWA, May 31, 2001 (LSN.ca) – The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), an Ottawa-based alliance of 32 Protestant, evangelical churches and colleges, has endorsed civil disobedience against abortion and other moral evils as a justifiable Christian response under certain circumstances. CHRISTOPHER REEVE AND SCIENTISTS SUE OVER STEM CELL RESEARCH

WASHINGTON, May 30, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Former ‘Superman’ actor Christopher Reeve and seven scientists have launched a lawsuit against the Bush administration for halting funding for research involving the destructive use of human embryos.
